Biography


Leddra Chapman is an independent singer/songwriter from London, releasing heartfelt folk/ pop music from her own label, ALC Music. Known for her high, soprano voice, Leddra has accumulated over 30 million streams worldwide.

Debut album ‘Telling Tales’, was acclaimed as ‘pitch-perfect acoustic pop’ by The Independent. The album was play-listed by BBC Radio 2 and personally championed by Sir Terry Wogan. This period of time culminated a televised live performance of the single on ITV’s This Morning. Leddra has toured with the likes of Tom Jones, Katie Melua and Ed Sheeran (who invited her to guest vocal on his EP 'Songs I Wrote With Amy' and on his debut album, '+')

This was followed by her second album "Fidelity & Grace". Lead-track ‘All About You’ was to become a live favourite & was named 'Record of the Week' on BBC Radio 2. Leddra also found the time to duet with Alistair Griffin on the BBC Radio 2 B-listed ‘The One’. The track was the fifth single in a row with Leddra’s name on it to be play-listed by Radio 2 and continued to showcase her development as an artist.

Leddra is also the Pathway and Course Development Lead for Creative Artistry and Songwriting at the Academy Of Contemporary Music.
